Ratings and reviews

I like the app. It is easy to use and does what it is supposed to do. However, when setting the desired humidity in the App, the numbers are displayed backwards! For example to set desired humidity level to "35" %, I have to enter "53" %. The numbers are always backwards in the App. Once I realized this it, is no problem to set it correctly. However, it is a nuisance. Other than this I would have given it 5 Stars. If a revision fixes this glitch, then I will change my rating to 5 Stars.

One Thing Missing... My unit is in the basement. It would be nice to know if the unit is actually dehumidifying or not. For all I know, the unit is running 24/7...or not. Maybe it's not possible to monitor that from the app but IF possible, it would also be nice to both be notified of ON/OFF but also provide a history log. BTW, I'm using the unit in the pump mode (hose) so have no clue how much water it's removing from the air.

I LOVE the Ovation dehumidifier device and this app for it. I have this device in a property in SW Florida and can control the humidity levels remotely to prevent any mold and mildew from growing when I am not there. It works flawlessly and I would recommend it to anyone! The only thing I would like to see added to the app is for it to show me some symbol when the dehumidifier device is actually running.
