This is a very disappointing app. This is the only way to control our new split system. It is supposed to do “everything a thermostat does”. It does not. The “schedule” function does not work. You cannot have a different setpoint for heat and cooling. If you want to cool to 78 - it is also heats to 78. There are no instructions, no help menu - and no way to contact anyone for help The contractors' solution is to add a thermostat - for another $1,000…

Got a carrier mini split system. I have had the wifi option for a few days. Everything was working fine. Set up schedules. And relax. Now, a few days later. I go to open the setting window. So thet I could access to their app and postpone one of the scheduled tasks. And all the apps does, is force close the app.

I wish I would have read all the other reviews b4 loading this app. It is absolute junk and there's no tech support. Shame on Carrier! I am trying to remotely control and manage four units at our church. I was able to finally "build" a schedule for each unit, but there's no evidence that any of the units is following the schedule. When trying to view the schedule for one, I get kicked to composing an email to customer support, which if sent gets bounced back as undeliverable!
