Missed my flight because the app failed to issue a boarding pass and there was almost no help. I reinstalled and restarted the app - still nothing. A rep blamed me for being late, claiming I didn't hit the check-in button in time, even though I did. After rebooking (Frontier even tried to make me pay the fare difference), I still couldn’t get the boarding QR for the next flight more than 12 hrs prior - thankfully it finally worked on an iPad. Just terrible!

I like frontier as I cam fly cheaper, but this app is unusable 90% of the time! I've tried updating it, using the website and I'm always struggling to get everything to load or stay loaded. it's so buggy and I can never stay logged into my account. it would be great if the bugs could be worked out. it's so laggy and when I had a 4 hour layover, the gate kept changing but the app wouldn't update me on the changes. I have no issue with the airline but this app is terrible.

2025 updated review, they fixed the boarding pass problems. it's much more easy to do, but they don't archive used boarding passes. There is a feature to check on your flight status but it doesn't ever actually update. It would have been nice to get a notification from the app before rushing to my next gate only to find out, it's been delayed for an hour or more BOTH flights. I had to get to the gate to get the information both times.

What’s new

* We made visual improvements when booking with both miles plus dollars, updated governmental disclaimers for designated routes, and will display the seat map for all eligible passengers at check-in.
* We've also addressed minor fixes for a more reliable and efficient check-in experience.
