HomeSafe View: Live Swann DVR viewing on your Android phone
HomeSafe View supports the following features:
Multi-channel viewing with up to 16 cameras on screen at the same time (16ch view works best on tablets)
Play back stored recordings from your DVR on your handset or tablet (requires high upload speed internet)
Capture video from your camera live view to your Phone to play back later
Capture single and multi still images and save these to your Phone's picture library
Control PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras remotely

Note: Current model handsets and tablets are recommended for high resolution playback and live viewing more than 8 cameras at once.

Note: This app uses a data stream that will connect to your Swann DVR via 3G/4G or WiFi. When using 3G/4G, the video from your DVR will likely be considered "downloads" by your phone service provider and will contribute to any download limit your phone data plan may have. If you exceed any plan limits you may incur additional usage charges. Consult with your mobile service provider regarding the use of a video streaming app and how it may affect your plan.

I've had so many problems with this device. It's not even funny. I have a four camera SDR swan is supposed to be a good brand. I've had nothing but problems when I go to review certain videos that did capture things. I can't view it half the time because when I click it it gets deleted or corrupted. Not deleted but I should say corrupted. Can't believe that this thing has this many problems. I'm not someone that has problems with technology. This device is messed up

Within the previous version of this app I selected areas within camera image to blackout. In this version I cannot clear the previous blackout areas. I'm stuck with it. And newly created blackout areas are not saved. Otherwise, the app is working well. The computer desktop software doesn't have any way to add or clear blackout areas.

1/6/25 no longer pairs.Terrible 6/9/24 changed again to an even smaller screen.3/21/24 Keeps getting worse. Features continue to be removed. When we upgrade our modem, it no longer displays to phone or has a way to reconnect. No support. New version of the app 9/2023 is bad. Video is too small to see or even use for security. Image quality has greatly decreased. It's no longer capable of being used in anyway for security on the app. Hardwire changed. Look elsewhere for a better security system.
