I have just received my new Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro (WiFi version) and I was able to set everything up without any issues in about 10 minutes, fortunately I am not experiencing any problems with connectivity and can configure everything easily and quickly with it's user friendly interface that's clean and nicely presented and straightforward to use. The earbuds connect seamlessly each time I remove them from the case.

There's an entry in gestures for "hold press" and it activates the voice assistant. You can't turn it off. there's a menu entry for it and it does nothing. Every time I remove the earbuds or lay down or pull up my hood it interrupts what I am doing and opens the voice assistant. I would uninstall this stupid app, except the start stop function is really important. because the headphones don't have a button.

Sometimes the Xiaomi Buds Pro Wi-Fi just don't connect to the phone without being put into the case again. Very annoying when traveling without a case as the headphones are basically broken in this case. --- Bad experience with Xiaomi Buds Pro Wi-Fi on an Xiaomi 15. Firmware Update to 5.3.7.2 fails repeatedly, even after an earbuds reset. Unreliable functionality of the days earbuds from day 1. Never again Xiaomi Earbuds!
