Retrieve the activation code of your car radio or navigation. This generator is compatible with most car brands and can calculate the code on the spot. All you need to see is the serial number.

🔎 Find the serial number

The serial number can be found on the label attached to your radio's side. To access it, you must partially remove the audio unit. Once you see it, please take a picture of it. You can see the serial number almost always near the barcode. Serial number examples:

💁 How to enter your code.

[1] Repeatedly press the pre-determined button 1. Stop as soon as you see the code digit on the screen.
[2] Repeat the same process with the buttons 2, 3 and 4.
[3] Ensure you have entered the radio code correctly and confirm. Depending on your radio model, the confirm button can be: 5, *, >. For example, on Ford 6000 CD we confirm with 5. For the Sony unit, we use *. For most VW, Audi, Skoda and Seat, we use > (arrow right).

💁 My radio says SAFE / LOCKED / WAIT / ERROR

All radios have a protection system before brute force code input. Being a 4-digit code, we will find the radio code in a maximum of 9999 attempts. To prevent this, depending on the model, the radio will be blocked after three unsuccessful attempts.

Ford

If you have a Ford radio, you may see "WAIT" on the screen. In this case you must leave the radio powered ON for 30 min. If you see "LOCKED" or "LOCKED 10", hold the button 6 for ten seconds. You may get another three attempts. If you see "LOCKED 13", then you have a semi-permanent block, which can only be fixed by a dealer.

VW - Volkswagen

VW (Volkswagen)

When three unsuccessful attempts are reached, the VW brand radios are blocked with the message "SAFE" or "SAFE 2" on the display. To re-enter a code, you must leave the unit on for 60 minutes.

I rarely comment or review apps. This is one of the few times I am writing. First off, this app works. I got codes for my Sony radio that I got locked out of after changing the battery. Knocked a few other doors but they all turned out to be expensive. I was not Willing to pay 20 euros for a radio code, cuz I knew there would be some free alternative to it. Then I found it. Yes. You get the codes. The only annoying part is 12 hr wait time. Not sure what's the point cuz they don't show any ads

I paid my $14 and it said to wait a couple of hours. it's now been a full day and I still don't have my radio code. This app is very deceiving!!!! **Update** It took a while to receive, but they ended up giving me the correct code and also refunded my money, which was much appreciated.

code does not work... i pressed the code does not work button and submitted a photo as they requested and after waiting a whole day for a response all i got was "hi, all fine" wasted 2 days on this just going to the dealership most dealerships give you the code for free. and i payed $13.99 for this requesting a refund.
