We are a team of running enthusiasts, coaches and elite runners based in the Alps. We love running on track, road and trail.

• Guillaume Adam is the co-author of a scientific publication at MIT (Boston) on running performance predictions. He finished in the top 50 at the 2023 New York Marathon, and has had a stellar career on the track, including a sub-4 minute mile.

As a certified coach, he has developed the Artificial Intelligence (AI) that generates your adaptive training plan.

• Romain Adam is an expert in startup development and a keen runner. He completed the UTMB (100 miles) in under 30 hours, has a marathon PB of 2:32, and has run more than 10 marathons. He uses the RunMotion Coach marathon training plans to prepare.

Overall the app is good. The training plans are nice and I like the structure. You really do get more value when you subscribe to the membership as you can move the plans around and you get more insight into your endurance levels. My only complaint is that the time zones don't sync up when I export the plans to Google Calendar. I have to go into the calendar itself and adjust the timing for my time zone. Aside from that, I recommend it.

I think this is a great app for providing structured training at an affordable price point. It's particularly good for running programs but you can use it to block in other sports as well. The AI insights based on your session results and any feedback you give it are helpful but I'd love to see this updating and adapting your weekly plan in real time. A couple of times I've asked if it could swap a few sessions around but I assume I still need to do this manually for now.

Frustrating, despite my input as to which days I would like to run, the training plan did not adjust. I tried several times with no success. Some training suggestions and alternate strength sessions would be welcome. When Injured the AI should suggest alternate exercises to strengthen the injured areas. There is simply not enough variety and the feedback is getting boring....
