At MBNA, we’re boringly good at credit card stuff, which doesn’t make us ideal dinner party guests, but does make people want our credit cards in their wallets.

We do it all - balance transfer credit cards, money transfer credit cards, transfer and purchase credit cards and low rate credit cards.

And our secure app is the perfect way to manage your account, whether you’re on the go or relaxing on the sofa.

Speedy login stuff
- Log in quickly and securely with your fingerprint or a 3-character combination from your memorable information.

Account management stuff
- View your balance summary
- Check recent transactions and pending transaction details
- Download official statements
- Make a debit card payment
- Request a credit limit increase
- Request a balance or money transfer

- Call us safely from the app – we’ll already know it’s you, so we can quickly connect you without the usual security checks.

Getting started
It’s quick and easy - just register your device and you’re good to go. For this you’ll need:
- An MBNA credit card
- An up-to-date phone number registered with us
- Your username and password (you can create these in the app if you’re new to MBNA).

Contacting you
We won't contact you any more than normal if you use the app. But please stay alert for emails, text messages or phone calls that appear to be from us. Criminals may try to trick you into giving them sensitive personal or account information. We'll never contact you to ask for these details.

Any emails from us will always greet you personally using your title, surname and the last four digits of your account number. Any text messages we send you will come from MBNA.

We don’t charge you for using the app, but standard network charges may apply, both in the UK and overseas. Service may be affected by phone signal and functionality. Terms and conditions apply.

You must not download, install, use or distribute our apps in the following countries: North Korea; Syria; Sudan; Iran; Cuba and any other country subject to UK, US or EU technology export prohibitions.

Please note that features requiring the use of your device’s phone capability, such as Call us, won’t work on tablets.

When you use this app, we collect anonymous location data to help combat fraud, fix bugs and improve future services.

Fingerprint login requires a compatible device running Android 7.0 or higher and may not currently work on some tablets.

I've only had this card for one week and I'm already experiencing issues. I've been trying to register for online services through the app, but it keeps telling me they are having technical issues. How long until you guys fix this? When I called in , they said they could only help me with the web browser version and not the app. So the app gets a 1 star until it can start working again.

Good but misleading info when you set up your mobile. The automated call will play a misleading message and after a long time you're able to enter the pin provided. After entering the pin correctly you'll be told the pin was unsuccessful and the call will end. However the pin actually worked fine (?) and I was able to finish the setup.

Couldn't even register. Got stuck at the memorable information step, as it wouldn't let me move to the text box where I enter the information a second time. Unusable therefore. Also why don't you support password managers... 1Password couldn't be used to generate the password or to save down the login details.
