I love the cashback features and a lot of the interface. However, as of earlier this year I can no longer see the activity/transactions in my current account only the balance. Seeing as Halifax now only send statements every 3 months it means I have to log in online rather than the app to keep up to date with transactions which is extra hassle. Please fix this!
It was better before the update... I'm all for improving thing's however over the last few days it's showing balances that I know are not true also not showing bakance transfers even though they have been transferred... no wonder people get into a pickle with there finances... Please Halifax look into the issues and address them pronto... Thank you Happy New year
It's better, neater and tidier than way back. It has most things I would like. Fingerprint access is cool. Could still use editing of transfer contacts list, which filled up with one time contacts I no longer need. I can't seem to find mobile alert settings now though, and what happened to my regular mini sms statement every week?
God please stop pushing adverts at me and give me an app to manage my account easily. I will close my account and move my business elsewhere because of your godforsaken app and your desires to push adverts at me. Also why does the tablet version not support finger print login? You guys have had years to perfect this stuff now, it should be second nature. It's 2018 you know, not 1985!
I love this app, so easy to use and makes my banking on the go a doddle. I've never had a problem logging in and ive had the app ever since it was first launched. I use it 3 or 4 times a week. And the cash back extra thing is great. The only thing I don't like is the picture of the dog on start up, I agree with one of the other reviewers that it would be nice to be able to customise the picture.
It does basically what's needed. You can do your standing orders and control your direct debits just fine. What it doesn't do though (and which the Bank of Scotland app that I had previously does do) is tell you if you're overdrawn and by how much. All it does is say that you have zero balance available. If you have pending transactions you're not certain if they are going to go out fine unless you break out a calculator. That's something I would think an app should be able to tell me straight away. Fix this then it's all you need from a banking app
Can’t always remember your sign-in details? Nope, us neither. But now you don’t have to. Just use your fingerprint to sign in. Fast, easy and safe.
Scroll to the bottom of your monthly transactions for a snapshot of how much is coming in and out of your current account.
For more info on your most recent card purchases or paid-in cheques just tap an item in ‘pending transactions’.
On top of all that the app’s been awarded an AA accessibility rating!
Plus, we’ve fixed some pesky bugs.
