Prime video is amazing, I've loved it ever since they purchased freeve(hope I spelled that right). I don't have a prime subscription yet I'm still able to watch so many movies and shows (with ads). I can also download a bunch of movies that I have bought to watch when I have no wifi. The only thing that I can criticize about the service is how repetitive the ads are. I'll be watching a show and I'll have the same ad 6 times while watching it. Otherwise it is a great app

Starting playback after pausing almost always doesn't work it's been more than a few minutes. There is a big increase of their ads and the volume of their ads. Auto play sometimes works and sometimes sporadically stops. Also, on some devices, fast forwarding 10 seconds for more than a few times causes the player to crash. The function is not great. Three stars is for the content.

App has been a disaster for months. Ads don't load actual video content (which is fine I don't actually watch them anyway), but then the actual show is a blank black screen when the ads are done. Use the back button to go out, come back in, and bam, more ads even though you just had your quota of them. App doesn't remember where I was in a video, so if I just click play on a show it starts playing from the wrong spot, and then remembers the wrong spot for that episode.
