Listen it's usually great and perfectly functional, but in recent months it's become a lot less usable. Most sheets I try to open trigger multiple painful minutes of loading just for one tab, and I need to do the whole thing over again for a different tab. And now for one of my sheets it just tells me a totally nonsensical error about offline edits maybe not showing up right before kicking me out. Sometimes the stars align and it just opens it right away, but that's pretty rare.

Google Sheets is a good program. This is my go-to app when I need a spreadsheet or a chart for raw, unfiltered data. It is often more convenient, even, compared to Polaris Viewer, which I also have installed. There are a few things missing, such as: ability to label individual columns; line borders; and a few other items that apparently are available only in the PC/MAC desktop versions. Still, for what it is capable of doing on a smartphone, it gets the job done. 4.5 Stars. ✴️

It's great to be able to do quick & simple spreadsheets on my phone and/or to share my Excel work with people who can't afford or just can't justify paying for Microsoft products. I continue to use Excel for most things though because some features like Data Whatif Tables are missing in Sheets, and other things (like Conditional Formatting, graphs, and floating text boxes) are too different or lame in the way they work.
