No ads, can read inverted codes and can generate barcodes.

Uses the ZXing ("Zebra Crossing") barcode scanning library. Supported barcode formats are: AZTEC, CODABAR, CODE 39, CODE 93, CODE 128, DATA MATRIX, DX FILM EDGE, EAN 8, EAN 13, ITF, MAXICODE (partial), PDF417, QR CODE, Micro QR Code, rMQR Code, RSS 14, RSS EXPANDED, UPC A, UPC E, UPC EAN EXTENSION

This has become my main scanning app: it recognizes encodings very quickly, and it immediately gives you the output with a copy button right there, so you can do whatever you want with it. It also tells you the format, so that you can turn around and generate your own version of the same barcode, for scanning a store club card, for instance.

An incredibly helpful and amazing app! I'm never using anything else for scanning barcodes, QR-codes and so on. Lightweight, no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. I use this app in my job and it's improved my workflow immensely.

Tried several, removed others when I found this. So good, I turned off the phone camera QR. I put on my home screen next to the camera to use when I want QR or Barcode scan. The copy button is handy for URL paste to browser. Extra step is worth it to prevent annoying unintended QR scans. Also, it's a chance to look at the URL before sending the browser there, and maybe avoid some spam.
