Ratings and reviews

Easy to do trades online, but still has a few glitches and some tickers lack real time quotes which can cost the investor lots of money. Also to trade between usd and cad is very glitchy and confusing to look at when placing trades. Also missing trailing stop loss feature that they still didn't reput in the app which is a feature i desperately need. If it is not featured in the next few months illl need to switch brokers

Recently switched from TD to CIBC and I was surprised to find out that I need TWO CIBC apps with different logins/passwords. TD app was way more intuitive and had more useful information that is easily accessible. With TD the book value was readily shown so I could see how my positions were performing (without jumping through different screens). TD also showed me forecasted dividends so I knew what to expect in each month, I now have to track that manually.

I rarely rare apps but this app is so remarkably bad and asks me to rate it so constantly, I had to. The main problem with this app is that it just doesn't work a lot of the time. It's constantly down for maintenance and won't open many days. When it does, they have problems displaying any daily updates on your account. I don't get how one of the biggest banks in the country can't get an app to have basic functionality. Hire some undergrad programmer and they'll probably make a better version
