Just installed the vitoconnect 100. Crazy setup for sure. Setup and app setup needs work to simplify. I have a good understanding of networking, so that made it a bit easier. The App , well useless i think. Very limited information. Lacks email, text, or push notifications for boiler errors etc.. Honesty i am scratching my head in disbelief. Since installed my vitocrossal 300 CUA, and programmed it , i know Viessman had a smart engineers. They need to talk to each other.

Needs a bit more work. Boiler diagnostic page has a bug on the pump status, if the pump is off the row showing status disappears. Also the section where you can enable automatic boiler software updates should show current version so you can identify version and if an update has been applied.

The control and info you can get from your boiler via the app is very good. However, you can only install the thermostat control via the installer level app, not customer level. That means you need your Viessman installer to set it up. That needs to be changed! TBH, you will probably never touch the thermostat control one the app is running. Setting up with the boiler was OK, but there were a few chopping and changing between screens to set up the WiFi but nothing difficult.
