Ratings and reviews

Thought maybe it would be like Amazon's Kindle app, and it's not. I am very disappointed the loading time takes forever and you can't swipe at your own speed you have to wait a minute. Multiple times, it would go blank and load forever, then put me behind 2 pages and not allow me to swipe or skip to go back where I was. I still had 3 chapters left. The app put me back at chapter 1 saying I finished the book and wouldn't let me go back to actually finish this book.

Here are some things that need improving: If you accidentally brush the screen, immediately goes into a "read aloud" mode. So you can't touch the screen to highlight passages or look up words like you can with the Kindle app. It just needs a few improvements like that. I like the read aloud mode, but maybe move it to a menu item so readers can touch the screen and highlight passages. Maybe I'm just using it wrong. I like that I can use the volume keys to turn pages.

I have used the app for years and loved it. Trying to get into reading, but apparently I can't purchase from the app anymore? So I added books to my wishlist bc it said I could then access it easily from the site. Well, I checked the site and my wishlist there is empty. Not sure what happened, but not being able to buy through this app is a serious downgrade. Edit: Apparently there is a second wishlist. Annoying, but at least it works. Adding a star, still wish I could buy in app.
