The app works great with my old vtech monitor. I recently bought a 2 camera system. Now, whenever I am not on my home wi-fi, those 2 cameras ALWAYS say offline and won't reconnect until I'm home again. Meanwhile, my old monitor is still online and available. I just don't understand. What's the point of the app if it only works when I'm home and have access to the parent unit!

To reset your device, please follow these steps: 1: Go to the settings in the parent unit. 2: Run the factory reset. 3: The parent unit will then directly connect to the camera. 4: Redo the add camera procedure from the App to scan the parent unit QR code. Met our needs until recently. Now, app no longer connects. Definitely an issue specific to the app as it works when app is force closed and restarted, but stops as soon as we close/minimize the app and return to it. Once bug is fixed, would be happy to upgrade to 4 stars. Only other preferred improvement would be a visual indicator of audio level like on the parent unit.

Recordings save on the app when motion is detected but seem to cap at a certain number. Wish that number was bigger, since older videos can no longer be viewed with each new recording that is added. There is also no way to download them unless you use a screen recorder feature on your phone to quickly capture the recordings before they disappear.
