Self Credit Builder gave me hope and courage. Being young and new to credit was a little taunting but Self taught me easily on how to budget, save, and manage my credit score. This bank has boosted my score tremendously, and after 1 year of saving every month, I was able to take out 2k at the end of my loan term. It's a loan plus savings in one. I haven't found any other bank like Self. I highly recommend them for all ages and wherever you are in your financial journey.

It does build your credit.,but it sucks because that is all it does, it doesn't tell you that when you open a credit card that it effects your payout amount when your account closes. I asked that question and was told no it does not effect your account, so I thought it was 2 different accounts, because I was paying on 2 different accounts. I am thinking I am getting a certain amount back for xmas shopping and to my surprise I got back $700 less. So be aware if you are going to use this busines

I have had Swlf for years, I enjoy the simplicity and I enjoy the service they provide. However 2 updates ago the app started bugging out. I now have to log in twice every time I access it. It logs me in kicks me out then I can log in again. I thought the 2nd update would fix it but that appears not to be the case. I will gladly give 5 stars again once this bug is fixed.
