About this app

Do you find it hard to concentrate? Do you feel the need to move constantly or interrupt others? If these issues are negatively impacting your daily life, this could be a sign of ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). While ADHD symptoms typically begin in childhood, ADHD can continue through adolescence and adulthood.

This ADHD Test is designed to help you screen yourself for the possibility of ADHD. This app uses the Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale.

Great, simple test. people are always saying that they think I have ADHD because of all my energy. I was thinking maybe so because I have a hard time with start up with projects and once started, pausing before they are complete. And I can hyperfocus. Plus time eludes me and small talk bores me. And I completely tune out of redundancy such as prayers without careful intention to listen. However this test says I don't have it. I got 9/18. That's good to know.

The questions are concise and clearly written. there are multiple links for personal reference at the end of the test. this gave me something to take to my therapist to start a conversation about the potential for my adult ADHD, which in turn caused her to take it more seriously I believe than had I just walked in and said I'd been reading some articles. All in all absolutely worth downloading and I would recommend it to anybody who's concerned that they may have ADHD.

I feel like the questions focus more on hyperactivity vs attention deficit. I really struggling with paying attention or doing things that requires focusing on them for extended amount of time. I also have trouble starting tasks in general. I run around not know where to start. I was trying to figure out if it could be me before I pay out of pocket (no insurance) to see a doctor. I scored a 10 out of 18. So I still am not sure.
