• Book your flight, reserve your seat and add your baggage: Search for your desired flight, book it, and rent a car that will be waiting for you at your destination. You can also add any additional pieces of luggage directly in the app and reserve or change your seat.

• Online check-in: With the Austrian app, you can check in online for all Lufthansa Group Network Airlines flights. Your digital flight ticket will then appear directly on your smartphone. When boarding, simply open the app to show your mobile boarding pass.

• Travel ID and Austrian Miles and More: You can now save several payment methods directly to your Travel ID account thanks to the new digital wallet. This means you can pay with ease anytime and anywhere. Enter your personal details and select your personalized services to make the Austrian app even easier to use. To do this, use your Travel ID or your Austrian Miles & More login.

• Real-time information and flight status: Starting 47 hours before your departure, your personal travel assistant will provide you with all important updates and information about your flight. Push notifications about check-in, flight status and gate changes make sure you are always up to date. With messages that pop up on your home screen, you always have an overview of your trip and can relax and enjoy your journey.

The login/password reset experience is among the worst I have ever experienced. Even back when I was a frequent traveler, the app would regularly log me out (great when you're rushing to your flights from appointments), and now I can't even reset the password, because it's simply not sending me the reset link. Apart from that, the app was concise and did what you would expect. I have yet to be able to log in to check out the recent updates.

Very bad. I don't suggest it for anyone. I traveled with them many times. Here is my experience: 1. They are very restricted about the hand baggage and also the cary-on baggage. 2. They face strikes from their employees all the time. They cancelled several flights. 3. The customer service are very bad. They took a very long time to reply, and they even don't reply at all. In general, I don't suggest them at all. Swiss and Lufthansa are also not perfect, but more flexible.

The app works great. Pushes notification regarding your bookings and updates information in real time. Seat changes and upgrades are updated immediately on the screen. It's also very easy to use. Only issue I had was contacting the support as nobody would pick up the call. The issue with login was fixed with the latest update
