Xanh SM is Vietnam’s first and only application offering on-demand transport and delivery services exclusively using pure electric vehicles manufactured by VinFast, including the VF e34, VF 5, VF 8 electric cars, and the Feliz and EVO electric motorcycles.

Launched on April 14, 2023, Xanh SM has quickly risen to become the second-largest on-demand transportation service in Vietnam, serving over 25 million customers and operating in nearly 60 provinces and cities across Vietnam, five provinces in Laos, and will officially launch in Indonesia in early September. Ratings and reviews

Bad drivers: cancelling before picking you up, going excessively slow, rarely understanding how to complete multiple stops, and often going to the wrong location. It's a very easy job to be a driver (I was one for 5 years) but I've dealt with some of the most clueless drivers frequently with Xanh. Grab does much better at hiring good drivers, handling payments, and offering various transportation options so I'd recommend them instead.

Decent ride but not good for foreigners. Easy enough to sign up and book a ride by putting in your destination and pick-up. To sign up you need a phone number for SMS (not WhatsApp) - the number can be international but you must have an active phone plan. Also I'm not sure if it's the app or our driver but they could not find our exact location. If you are not Vietnamese make sure you have some basic direction words in case they call you. Price was competitive with Grab, and picked up fast!

App very glitchy on android, especially pixel 7. Location pin can only drop at a very designated spot. Slow and unresponsive at times. It hawks alot of memory of the phone as well. I like the concept of keeping th earth green.
