About this app

The Total Connect Comfort app allows users to remotely monitor and manage their heating and security system – at anytime, from anywhere. Total Connect Comfort works with the following thermostat and security solutions:

- The evohome thermostat systems
- The single zone thermostat in conjunction with an internet gateway
- The European voice controlled thermostat
- The Wi-Fi Smart thermostat (available in selected countries)
- Evohome Security
- Sucrebox Security

With the Total Connect Comfort app users can:
- View and set the indoor temperature
- View and change the program time period
- View and set a quick action (on selected solutions)
- View and set the system's operating mode (on selected solutions)
- View and set the fan's operating mode (on selected solutions)
- View a 5-Day weather forecast
- Access multiple locations if more than one system is registered
- Use the Demo Mode before purchasing a thermostat
- Automatically upgrade to new features once they become available
- Turn on or off email notifications about the system's connectivity status

With the Total Connect Comfort app together with an Evohome or SucreBox security system, users can:
- Arm, disarm or partial arm their security system
- Take camera shots upon an automatic or manual alarm trigger
- Receive alarm notifications via email or SMS
- View the alarm system activity feed
- Automatically upgrade to new features once they become available

Ratings and reviews

When the app connects, it's really convenient and easy to use. Last winter it worked continuously well. This year it seems a bit more haphazard, re: when the app connects or not. I've tried all the recommended suggestions from restarting my phone to reinstalling the app and I can't get it work reliably. When it does connect, the functionality is good, I just wish it would connect more reliably.

Very very basic. Should have the same input controls as the physical controller. No updates as initially said the UI is so basic. Plus it does not work half the time. With me it does not crash or hang, but when I change a state or switch say the hot water on, it tells me on the app its been done but check the controller and its still off.

Stopped working completely after the latest android update, now my only recourse for remote operation is to log in to the website, which is very limited. Dreadful app! Flaky to say the least, I've been using it now for nearly five years & in spite of updates it doesn't improve in the slightest. And for crying out loud stop asking me to sign in! it's my heating system,not a banking app!
