This app is subpar and definitely inferior. The geofence feature is why I bought this thermostat and it doesn't reliably work. When it fails to work properly I have to restart the phone uninstall and reinstall the app and reconfigure the Wi-Fi. It's annoying to have to do this frequently. It should be set up once and continue working in perpetuity. The app needs a serious overhaul so that it can deliver on the services it provides reliably. I would encourage customers to look for other services.

Scheduling feature is not at all useful or intuitive. Would be a lot better if I could set a range of time for certain temperatures (72 degrees 7am to 7pm and 68 from 7pm to 7am). Instead, you are given four blocks of time which are already assigned a name, none of which can be changed. Otherwise, the app functions as intended.

How is it that this tech can connect to google and alexa, but can't auto switch between heat and cool to a desired temp range like nest? Very annoying between seasons. It is cool at night, heat. Wake up, fine and leave. Come home and it's 80 in the house because I didn't switch to ac when I was gone at the approoriate time. This is basic stuff. update the firmware!
