It's such a good idea. I love that I can turn the AC on and off from elsewhere in the house. But I don't understand why programming a Turn Off time is so fiddly. I can read, so I've done what the manual says. Ive tried troubleshooting. I've tried help forums. I've even tried plain old Googling for help. Nothing works. App is up to date, Bluetooth is on, action and time are set. And it NEVER HAPPENS. I want to like this app, but I really can't.

Zero Cool
All that I have to use with the ThinQ app so far is a nice microwave. And I don't have any complaints as of yet. I really like being able to turn the over the stove light on and off from the app though. However, it sure would be funny, and fun even, if I could choose my own, "microwave is done cooking," chime, as well as the chime for turning the light on, AND the chime for turning the light off. You know, using my own audio files.

Cant connect to the minisplits or washer/dryer anymore. I can see all devices in my network. They are all pingable. I get notifications but canNOT operate functions (on/off, switch from heat to cool, change temperature sets etc). It is either the app or LG cloud, but I can find no info. Used to be so handy Edit: After shutting off the power to the HVAC units, deleting the app and then reinstalling, it reestablished communication. There has to be an error in the most recent update

Please delete and reinstall the ThinQ application. If this does not resolve the issue, please send a message via 1:1 Support with a copy of your review, your phone’s model number, OS version, and the ThinQ application version. ^LG
