Ok, so in a dark car park, read the name of the charger, read which port you're socketed into, and remember them while you find the way out - there's no phone signal. Then enter them into the app, which gives no feedback on whether it's working. Then , come back hours later to find you've done no charging. This app should not exist! I don't want your nonsense account, just swipe my damn card! I will avoid podpoint whenever possible.

Works. But demands prepaid even when using credit card. So you cannot simply fill up an unknown amount but have to decide in advance. Really silly, why can't they simply block an amount and charge rather than prepay. I'm a visitor want to the UK and will therefore not use their system repeatedly, I don't to prepay too much... Also a bit not so great that you cannot see charging progress in the app. But I managed to pay in the end. The URL for payment did not work, but the app did.

This app is not great in an understatement. Although I would club together the functionality of the app with the home charger. It's missing basic features like 'locking' of the charger someone can't simply charge their car on your home charger. Other charger recognise a car being plugged in and send an authorisation request to the app for the owner to approve. Other features I would expect are for a smart charger to work out the best time to charge based on tariff/service provider....
