Ratings and reviews

Crashes too often, Bluetooth connectivity doesn't hold, automatically closes if it's minimized. All of these could probably be solved if it didn't close itself out while not in use. This happens on mobile after about 5-10 minutes of not being used. Other apps continue to run in the background, but square does not. Perhaps a permission to opt in for running in the background to hold a connection and last transaction created?

Easy to use, and they have exciting loan offers as you grow! No interest, just a flat fee and a x% on any card transactions to repay! I am so grateful for that service! While you don't need a device to use the app, you should get one. I use a small $50 unit for chip and tap payments, and it keeps me going! I've heard there are more competitive credit card processors, but I haven't found them! 2.6% is fair to expand your business, taking Apple/Google pay, and most cards!

Have used square for several years with zero issues. In fact, have recommended it to others. In the last month it has been awful. Constantly trying to reconnect, stops transmitting after every sale. I have cleared cache, restarted, redownloaded, etc with the same poor service. With so many people on here commenting the same issue I'm confused WHY it hasn't been addressed. Do better.
