Useless unless you buy newer items. Also app wants permissions to record and take pictures, seems like it could even do the code reading without the need to record audio. So i guess it's time for me to buy there nighthawk and mesh ive been seeing at costco. Oh well if they are going to force me to upgrade then i will, but not with them.

This is an app with only basic functionalities, advanced controls are absent. some common features which are very handy to have and helpful, like bandwidth monitoring, data consumption chart or something like that are missing as well. Very difficult to tell which cover router is connected. Sometimes the white light starts blinking then stops, which could be a product issue but this app fails to notify or point to anything. Also it can't identify all types of internet connections. Very slow

Absolutely frustrating. I followed the setup instructions 16 times before it finally connected on it's own as I was trying to figure out how to get some help from the website. The app would say the device was booting, the device would start blinking and then shut off, and then the app would not be able to find the device. Over and over again. And the FAQs were incredibly unhelpful. I even tried it using the wps button instead of the app and STILL no connection multiple times.
