Ratings and reviews

I like that it has shorter, skippable ads, in contrast to Spotify. What I absolutely hate, however, is that you cannot leave the app, turn off your screen, or even change it from the music video to the audio, without paying for premium. It's extremely inconvenient because I want to play music while my phone is in my pocket. However, since my screen HAS to stay on, the song changes because my pocket touched a different song.

It was good while it lasted. Before the update, you can listen to music while off screen, which I been looking for, for the longest. You save battery that way and make sure your pocket is automatically pressing stuff to interrupt your song and prevents you from holding your phone all the time. Now with the update, they want you to pay $10 a month just to listen to music offscreen. Are you serious?????? I switched to MusicTubePlus to listen to my music offscreen. I'm done with this app.

The great audio and video junk drawer. Take decent,simple, easily used apps for music and podcasts (Google Play music and Google Podcasts) and throw them in the junk drawer. Now it's disorganized and not as useful and it's more difficult to navigate plus just like a junk drawer it is constantly getting stuck. The app consistently has Bluetooth connection issues. You cannot get notifications for new podcasts. Music rarely starts where you left off when you reconnect... Very clunky.
