About this app

MyChart gives you access to your test results, appointment information, current medication, immunisation history, and more on your mobile device.

With MyChart you can:
• View your health information
• Stay in touch with your doctor
• Manage your appointments
• Access your family's health information

You must first create an account through your healthcare provider in order to access your information through MyChart. If your healthcare provider is not listed, or if you require support accessing your existing account, contact them directly about accessing your account through the MyChart app.

I can't say enough about this app. If your hospital system uses it, get it. It's very organized and intuitive to use. There's nothing worse than wasting time looking for functions on apps. MyChart is well-organized. Every thing is here and easy - quick text messages to your doctor (with photo attach ability), quickly see your test results, any medical bills owed, and quickly follow your medications with quick refill request. Your doctor's office sends reminders to the app calendar.

This would be a great app - except. I got it to prepare for my first surgery, hip replacement. I had a lot of prep, and the steps were very important. The tasks were long lists, things you can and can't do post-op, things you need to bring to the hospital/leave home. But once I read & clicked "I understand", the Tasks disappeared. I looked in all the settings, and there is a setting to "Show Completed Tasks", which was ON. It was frustrating and made me very anxious. Please fix!

First time user. Couldn't get it set up after three times by me and twice by the hospital tech. After it was accessible ease of use(information requested to access) was exactly what I needed. However, could not print it out and screen kept locking up while attempting to read through all the lengthy documents. Questioned some of the itemized bills which were immediately clarified.

What's new

You can now set up two-factor authentication with an authenticator app, and can confirm surgical appointments using eCheck-In or text messaging. These features might become available to you after your healthcare organisation starts using the latest version of Epic.
