Personalize your environment with controllable noise cancellation on our QuietComfort products. With Modes on QuietComfort products, you decide how much of the world to let in. Select products offer Aware Mode with ActiveSense technology, which brings the sounds around you down to a more comfortable level. The result is hearing everything you need to, but at a much more pleasant and balanced volume.

New headphones are nice, but there's no way to turn off sound cancelation voiceover. Would be a nice feature since I can tell what mode it's in without. More annoying is that the app keeps starting in the bg saying "keeping everything in sync" when I'm not using anything for audio. Seems like Spyware to me, apps should stay off unless prompted to be otherwise. This is why it's a 1 star.

Breaks the headphones, with the app installed my Bose open ear headphones constantly lose connection while still displaying it as connected and they become unsynchronized. The second I deleted this awful app the problems go away and it acts like any normal earbuds. I'm on a pixle 7 pro so I doubt it's a issue with my phone. 0/5 really sucks cuz I know the headphones are fine, it's just Bose is incompetent when it comes to apps. Wish they would hire someone to help them figure it out.

Verdict with fully updated Pixel 5 with fully updated earbuds and app: This app sucks. I used the EQ, which permanently change the earbuds until changed again. (Across all devices.) MAJOR connection issues. Either perfect, in which it's awesome, or it doesn't work at all causing the earbuds to not work. With fully updated Pixel 9: Same deal, except it's actually worse. Will work for 6 min (exactly) than shut down earbuds. Delete the app when you're done with customizing earbuds settings.
