Only app I have found that will scan ethernet connection, but it has a major issue. You can scan the IP addresses on ethernet, but all the tools do not work. No ping, port scan, etc. It also says it needs location data even though precise location has been always allowed. If this is fixed then I would pay for the premium. Also, it will not scan on wifi. So as of now it is a broken ethernet scanner with no usable tools. Just lists IP addresses found.

Great, simple to use. I already have the Fing app that I use and it works pretty good, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to label each individual device, but with Network Scanner it's very simple to label all connected devices and with a little picture you can assign to it. I keep Fing because it has a great speed tester on it, but this app is definitely worth the download, has ads but they are not overbearing.

Easily scans my home network giving basic device information (no mac address, even though in sort menu). I've come from Fing as I wanted to scan my network more than once in 24 hrs, so that functionality is appreciated. The icons are quite limited given all the new Smart devices now available. Also not clear what scan method is chosen as menu choice differs from the one shown in settings. However, it found all my devices on my bridged network.
