On my 1st experience, I would have given it a 1/5 (this is with the ION Tough Tailgater from Costco), but I tried it a 2nd time and the initial bugs seem to have been worked out (maybe due to firmware update?). The FM radio antenna on the speaker seems to have a really limited range, but that has nothing to do with this app. The app works as it's supposed to, although I wish I could delete the preset "fun scenes" so they don't get in the way of my own. Also, only 6 preset FM stations isn't great

One word - clumsy. This is needed to run a portable speaker I received as a gift(Ion Go). It is terrible. 30 plus seconds for any input to start working - such as changing volume or input. Only 2 FM stations found across the entire spectrum. This is just junk. If it were not a gift, I would not have anything to do with either the speaker or This control program.

Using this with the Ion Total PA Freedom. Works good, connected easily seems quick to respond and does the job. I do wish there were more options with the light control, like it would be nice if on some of the effects you could control the colors and not just have random colors. Other than that, it works great.
