About this app

MetroPCS Voicemail keeps getting better and better! With Visual Voicemail you can listen to messages in any order, respond in one click, update your contacts, and easily manage your inbox without ever dialing into your voicemail.

No need to change your MetroPCS voicemail number or to reconfigure your voicemail forwarding - Visual Voicemail activates for free at first launch. You can also upgrade to Voicemail to Text for a small monthly fee and receive all your voicemails transcribed into text directly in the application inbox or via SMS message.

MetroPCS Visual Voicemail may use infrequent, free SMS messages to communicate with the Voicemail server.

An Unread Messages widget is now included with MetroPCS Visual Voicemail. On most Android devices you can add the Visual Voicemail widget by long pressing on any free space on your home screen, selecting 'Add Widgets', and choosing the Visual Voicemail widget from the alphabetical list.

The audacity Metro has by charging $2/month for a very useful feature Google has FOR FREE is super upsetting. Do better. I would just ignore this aggravation but the fact that they FORCE YOU to use their voicemail app and disable other, better voicemail options TICKS ME OFF!!! Go ahead and charge your $2 a month to those who can justify that. I would think more highly of my phone carrier if they gave you freedom to use Google's native Voicemail app or any other services but nooooo, you can't!!

Unusable since recent updates. Just crashes constantly, on top of putting what used to be free features (and are accessibility features, so it's clear how the disabled are being charged to get a usable version of the app) behind a paywall. Even if I were inclined to pay a subscription fee for this app, I couldnt because the thing doesnt work! Used to be such a great app. What a waste.

Improving & actually works now. It's not flawless, but it's getting there. (I do however wish call forwarding was still included in plans without an up-charge. That wish doesn't actually apply to this app though.) I would prefer to be able to use Google Voice as my voicemail, without needing to paying extra. Voice just has a multitude of customizable features that go above and beyond what this app has or what I'd expect this app to have. As for expectations for this app, I don't have complaints.
