Ratings and reviews

The software is easily accessed through a mobile app which allows me to remotely control and monitor my security system. I have complete control over any alarms, videos, door and window locks, cameras and smart thermostats. I can easily add or subtract authorized users to my system, so if I need someone to pet sit for a weekend I can add them with their own passcode and then remove them after the weekend. The mobile app makes everything very easy.

This app is often slow to load. the service is unreliable at catching movement when it first happens. and streaming on the cameras is often lacking continuous sound. Definitely recommend doing research into other security systems before signing up for this one. the night vision on the cameras is good and the microphones are decent when the system is fully cooperating with the wifi.

When someone rings my bell, there's a huge delay. There are often delays getting into this app. If I need to speak to someone at my door, it takes too long to log in. The ADT camera picture is clear, but the app often misses recordings of information. I never see when we leave the house or rarely have recordings of people that drive into my driveway even though that area is visible. Catching all details on videos is hit or miss. I do like the search feature that goes way back in time.
