Don't be fooled by Chirp's deals on books. As long as you have to use this awful app to listen, it's NOT worth your money. I'm only 8% into my book, and I can't tell you how many times the app has glitched because I've lost count. It has only kept my place in the book MAYBE three times. Every other time I have to find my place from the end of the previous chapter, and that's IF the play button works. I don't know when it decides to work and when it doesn't. And during play, it often loses sound.

I like the service and the number of books offered. However, the app is a glitchy. It sometimes doesn't save my place and starts at the beginning of the section. Other times, the play button isn't responsive and requires me to close and reopen the app to work properly.

When I purchased this series of audiobooks, I did not realize they were read by AI. The basic mispronunciations really started to irritate me by the end. Even the heroine's name was mispronounced once. In addition to that, there were a number of audio errors in editing where there was a loud brief sound, as if something was re-recorded but it wasn't started at exactly the right place, also very annoying.
