The JBL Compact Connect is an easy-to-use application for tablets and mobile devices that is designed to offer complete control of up to four JBL EON ONE Compact PA speakers at a time. Featuring Bluetooth audio control, the application gives you free reign over all of the EON ONE Compact’s setting and capabilities. From controlling the speaker’s four-channel digital mixer, to adjusting effects, saving and recalling presets and much more, JBL Compact Connect allows you to easily tailor your speaker to fit your application. Plus, JBL Compact Connect directly links to the speaker’s hardware, so any change you make from the application will reflect on your EON ONE Compact’s LED indicators, including volume levels. In addition to dialing in the perfect sound, the JBL Compact Connect application allows you to update each speaker’s firmware.

This app NEVER WORKS! JBL should be ashamed of having their name associated with it. The speaker will connect Bluetooth, but the app constantly fails to " link" with the speaker. And even when it does it never functions properly and randomly disconnects. I bought this speaker for outdoor weddings, and it's a joke. I have had so many issues with it.

I purchased 2 of those speakers. I use the app on Android device. Since I used the app for the 1st time, they are only playing Left OR Right channel, though they are set to mono. When only 1 speaker is ON, it's playing only 1 channel. When both are on and connected with Bluetooth, only 1 speaker is playing, 1 channel. When I use a cable to play music, it still plays just one channel... Also, I could never change user the app to change the volume of the mixer, it's just not working. HELP!

OK, so you don't want to put a deep user interface onto a stage amp. I get that. So it's got dual function knobs and a really obscure way of navigating them... But there's an app! Great... except... oh... it's not really much more user-friendly than the hardware, to be honest. It could be so much easier to use.
