The app is fine, helpful even, but Snapshot sucks. You're required to allow it constant access & it drains the battery. Turning it off doesn't help bc it'll turn itself back on even if the phone hasn't moved at all. The driving records are inaccurate, too. Some are logged, some are not. If you use hand-free through Bluetooth, it'll log it as if you're using the device. It has logged my trips as if I'm riding on a bus/bicycle & if you hit a pothole it activates hard braking. It's not worth the $.

definitely pretty good app, but doesn't realize that you may be using hands-free on your device . I say this because it can tell when you're holding your phone or using it. that doesn't mean your not focusing on driving.. doesn't recognize use of hands free technology like the very poor technology, Google voice to text or other hands-free technology. some I'm app options allows it to track safe driving as a way of offering discounts.

This app is extremely simple and does everything you would want an insurance app to do. However, it deserves only one star at best because unless you update it every single time, it is unusable. Not because it crashes or anything, but because it is software locked until you update. Say you need to access something that would require little to no data, and say you have little to no service, can't be done if you aren't running the latest version.
