Ratings and reviews

The app is fine, helpful even, but Snapshot sucks. You're required to allow it constant access & it drains the battery. Turning it off doesn't help bc it'll turn itself back on even if the phone hasn't moved at all. The driving records are inaccurate, too. Some are logged, some are not. If you use hand-free through Bluetooth, it'll log it as if you're using the device. It has logged my trips as if I'm riding on a bus/bicycle & if you hit a pothole it activates hard braking. It's not worth the $.

I'm so pleased that the app completely logs you out and can't remember your login if you haven't used it for long enough. What an excellent decision for an app that holds information that isn't printed and mailed to you as a convenience anymore, that is supposed to be easily accessible at any moment, and refuses to remember your login or even give you a reminder that you are to be permanently logged out. Fantastic idea, I'm sure it's in the name of security you can't access your own information.

absolutely horrible app. always have to log on twice, every single time. can't really change much direct in the app, it just sends you to the website anyway, so totally pointless. oh, and the website is almost always down for some reason, so you end up having to call. if you want the '90s experience, use Progressive.
