6 or 7 years ago, Swann used to be a great security system with a great app. But now it is complete garbage. Most of the time the app won't load. When it does load, it almost immediately loses the connection and freezes up. I highly recommend everyone to buy another brand. ANY other brand. Swann, if you have any recommendations, please let me know because I am ready to start a campaign against your products, and I guarantee that I will hit your bottom line.

ETA 11-8-25: What a garbage app. It completely disconnected from our system for no reason (no live feed and no clips available). This happened overnight. App was then deleted and reinstalled, no change. Completely unimpressed and utterly disappointed. Mediocre, at best, anymore. Playback very rarely works, always showing error messages and often shows people as blurred moving objects. Live feed is super slow. The app worked great when we first got the cameras, but not anymore.

Edit: This system couldn't get any worse...complete garbage. Not impressed with the overall functionality of the entire security system. It records endless video of shadows moving and branches in the wind but misses every important instance of movement. Missed most delivery vehicles and an entire herd of deer passing through my yard. The app is glitchy, slow, and refuses to even play back sometimes. I wouldn't buy the system again and wish I could get a refund so I could buy a different system.
