Ratings and reviews

This does work, and the app looks slick, but it's very slow and flaky in use. It usually takes multiple tries and a long wait to connect, recognise the vehicle (this didn't work at all recently, you had to enter the VIN manually and it didn't remember it for next time), and to perform the scan. 20 mins to do a 2 min job. Given that anything other than clearing errors seems to be paid I wish I'd gone for something simpler, cheaper, and more reliable.

FYI regarding older OBDeleven Bluetooth dongles... I couldn't use this app with my older dongle to connect to a 2011 E70 BMW X5. My unit is likely a Gen-1 model as it's all white and has no version or serial number markings on it. It works fine with the OBDeleven VAG app for Volkswagen-Audi Group vehicles, but Customer Support confirmed one of their later generation dongles is required to use this app with BMW's. The older dongles may work with this app and non-VAG/non-BMW makes, I don't know.

Works fast when scanning modules but can never find or save the VIN numbers for the car which gets frustrating. VAG specific obdeleven app works better for me.
