Ratings and reviews

It's taken me a long time to come back around to Firefox on mobile. I tried using it with Android Gingerbread when most browsers were barely functional due to user agent restrictions on mobile browsers. I suppose I held it against Firefox because I used it first and it didn't work the way I expected. Now that I have come back to it and used it extensively, it is easily my first choice and one of the top two browsers available.

Good browser. I enjoy most of the features, it even let's you install and use extensions. I really wish they brought back the toggle that made the app ask before downloading things. I want to be able to be able to name my files before downloading to make sure they're the right format and easy to find.

It's hard to find a perfect mobile browser but Firefox is definitely the closest I've seen. I wish certain things were more customizable (for example, it's confusing that on a normal site when you click the address bar it selects the entire URL, but when on a search engine you have to manually select and delete your search term to get it blank). Other than small things like this it's great, and I appreciate that they seem to pay attention to reviews.

What’s new

* To help diagnose and fix crashes more quickly, crash reports can now be set to be automatically shared with Mozilla by checking the new "Automatically submit crash reports" Data Collection option in the settings.
* Various bug fixes and quality improvements.
