Kinoku is an offline workout tracker and gym log for lifters, runners, and hybrid athletes. Log gym workouts and track runs in one private app.
Your primary workout, run, metric, and cycle records live on your phone, with no Kinoku account or history server. Android system backup may carry eligible main-app data; manual backup and export are under your control.
WORKOUT TRACKING AND RUN TRACKING
- Strength training: sets, reps, weight, RPE, RIR, supersets, drop sets, rest-pause, failure sets.
- GPS run tracker: runs, walks, and rides with pace, splits, heart rate, elevation, and weather.
- Swim: pool sessions with laps and stroke notes.
- Mobility and flow work: balance, flexibility, and core.
- Cycle: periods, symptoms, and phase-aware training notes in a dedicated database excluded from Android automatic cloud backup. Manual backup and device transfer remain under your control.
- Body: weight, body comp, and custom metrics.
- Steps, sleep, and HRV (via Health Connect).
- Progress photos with a locked private gallery.
WHY THIS GYM LOG IS DIFFERENT
A real free tier. The free app is a full app, not a teaser. Unlimited routines, workout history, training programs, calendar plans, and custom metrics. 1,300+ exercises plus your own. 19 themes. Wear OS and Health Connect. No ads. Most other fitness apps charge for some of this.
A whole-athlete app. Lifts and runs in one app, plus swim, mobility, and recovery, with more added over time.
Helpful, not bossy. The Kinoku Coach finds patterns in your training. It backs up your call. It does not take over.
SEE YOUR PROGRESS
Kinoku shows your lifts and runs getting better over time. Open a lift and a label says if it is progressing, holding steady, or slipping. Open a routine to see the whole thing trend across every session. Open Running Progress for your bests and your pace over time. It only claims progress when the data is sure. These reads are free. Pro adds a Lift Progress dashboard and ideas for a stuck lift.
PRO ADDS DEPTH
Deeper run analytics: heart rate zone training, a route heatmap, and a fitness score from your runs. A 6-tab analytics hub with training load, race predictions, and strength standards. A readiness score from sleep, HRV, and training load. Auto set tuning and weight tips. Calendar shortcuts: drag a plan to another day, repeat a day, and set a schedule that repeats. Tips for today that read your recent training. A plan hint for tomorrow, swap ideas for a worn-out muscle, and cycle-linked training notes. Quick Log by text and voice. Circuit and HIIT mode. Weekly training targets for each muscle. Make your own workout types. A recovery-colored body figure on Today. Six extra themes.
PRIVACY, FOR REAL
Reproductive-health data sits in its own database, excluded from Android automatic cloud backup and normal Health Connect write, share-card, and CSV paths. A manual Kinoku backup or user-initiated device transfer can carry it to a device or location you choose.
Optional diagnostics can include Firebase usage, crash reports, performance traces, and coarse app or workout metadata. They exclude exercise names, set logs, notes, routes, health or cycle values, photos, and contacts.
Kinoku has no advertising or data-broker SDKs. Optional Firebase diagnostics are its only product telemetry. No data is sold.
WEAR OS
Start workouts, log sets, and run with GPS from your watch. It works without your phone and syncs back when paired. Heart-rate aware. Tile and complication included.
10 LANGUAGES
English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Bulgarian, and Turkish.
Free forever, with no ads and no time limit. Pro is optional, with monthly, annual, and one-time lifetime options. The yearly Pro plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You can cancel anytime before it ends.
We use Kinoku every day. If something is broken or you want a feature added, tell us at feedback@kinoku.app.
