quite possibly THE WORST app I have ever had the misfortune of using. Great smoker, but THE WORST app ever. Even when the app and smoker are connected, it says remote use disabled, close door and hit pair to reconnect. this does not work. EVER. I have NEVER had remote control of my smoker, and the wifi/ Bluetooth function is an upscale scam. Don't buy the wifi smoker. stick with analog, it keeps the bad devs out of the picture. ps. customer service is worse.

First time I used my new smoker with the app it worked great for the first 2 to 3 hours, then I noticed nothing was updating. Thankfully the smoker was still running. I tried to reconnect multiple times, and while it said it was connected, the temp and time were wrong, and I couldn't make any changes. I've used my smoker 3 more times since then, and the longest the app has worked has been about 10 minutes. I'm about ready to get ride of it and buy a different brand.

Constantly has issues. For example, I am trying to change the desired temp which is supposed to give an alarm when it reaches it. But the app will not let me change the desired temp. This is just one simple example of why it leaves much to be desired. I had high hopes for my 1050 smoker, but it has fallen apart in just 2 years. Main parts failing left and right. They have much room for improvement with both this app and the smoker.
