It's practical for booking appointments, but it has glitches and doesn't update the appointments in the app if something changes but tells you to contact the clinic. So end up waiting for ages on the phone anyway, might as well call in the first place. At least then you don't have to wait to get it confirmed. Also you can't cancel the appointmen in the app but again you have to call the office again waiting ages as usual. It has potential to be a great time saver but needs a few upgrades

Unreliable app! I booked an appointment with my provider, and thinking the app had done it correctly, thought nothing more of it. I opened the app to check the time so I wouldnt be late, and couldn't find the appointment. Called the clinic and they didn't have me in the system for an appointment. So I have to wait now. Will not rely on this app to do my bookings any longer.

Used to be a great app but not anymore. My dr surgery tells me we have to put credit card details in HotDoc for every telehealth appointment, otherwise the appointment will be cancelled. Apparently this is new for HotDoc. We already have our credit card set as our default payment in HotDoc. Makes no sense at all. It's easier for us to actually book by phone, physically go to the surgery and be charged after our consult. How's that for a ridiculous app!
