About this app

CoronaFinder is an instructional and socio-educational tool, developed by students at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), which is part of an extension project at the university's Faculty of Medicine (FAMED) aimed at helping to combat the new Coronavirus in the state and, concomitantly, provide another source of informational data to the cities of Pará.

The app counts a symptomatic score, based on WHO and Government guidelines and recommendations (at federal, state and municipal levels), to guide users who have symptoms, in addition to the presence of risk maps and the distribution of units health care in the city of Belém, tutorials on producing homemade masks (as well as how to use them correctly) and detailed recommendations for preventing the disease.

The project idea was produced and implemented by a group of 5 university friends: Fernando Maia, Márcio Marvão, Talles Levi and Yuri Geha, in addition to the participation of the graduate student in Design, Erik Pereira, who jointly aimed to accomplish something concrete and of community utility in view of the current situation and that, mainly, was available free of charge to the population of the State of Pará.

The Application was reviewed by doctors and the project advisor, PhD in Virology.
