• Your security is our top priority, which is why our mobile banking app uses the same level of secure protection as our full Online Banking.

To take full advantage of the Alterna Saving's app, you must be an Alterna Savings member, plus already be registered for and have logged into Online Banking. If you’re not an Online Banking user, you can still use the locator feature to find the closest ATM, including THE EXCHANGE® Network ATMs, check our rates or quickly find our contact information.

There’s no charge for the Alterna Savings app, but mobile data and/or internet charges may apply. Check with your mobile phone provider for details.

Atrocious! I want to love Alterna but even after a redo its still hot garbage. As a long time customer, their first app was better. This one is so trash it functions like it's still in Alpha Test with no rigorous testing of the UI or functions. NO its not even easier! It takes 7 steps to just get money back and transfers take double the time to confirm. For the love of god Alterna pull your app and fire the dev team and hire an ergonomics expert. Its shameful how inconvenient this app is (Still)

Honestly, the app itself is better than the old one and a lot less glitchy. But 2 major things that are missing is you can't add a new contact for e-transfers (very probablematic)... And second is the app can't do anything for alterna credit cards... Edit: thank you for the response. Happy to see that you can add contacts. Although it wasn't easy to find, I suggest having the option to add a new contact when you go to select the recipient. Thanks!

I like the app but it could use some improvements. especially the e transfer contact information lacks the email or phone info. just to confirm you are sending to the correct account. especially when u have a person with multiple accounts. plus I have had people complaining that it takes longer to receive etransfer from Alterna than the banks. thank you
