This app gives you online access to services provided by the Government of British Columbia. It's digital ID that makes it safe, quick and easy to log in.

A little stiff but a definitely big improvement since last time when I tried just to download the app and didn't let me because "this app it's not available in your country" I bought the phone overseas, but I was in Canada at the time of download and using a Canadian cellphone provider. Anyway, taking the picture of yourself is a little tricky, app developer definitely should add a 2 seconds timer!!! It took me a few good times till I was able to get a clear picture... Push button / stay still..

I have to reinstall and reverify multiple times a month due to the app refusing to open. Sometimes I will get an error message saying it isn't properly installed while waiting for my account to reverify making the whole process an ordeal. I don't believe it's an issue with my devices either, the same issue rises when logging in on my old and new devices. The folks at the help desk aren't sure what the problem is either (no fault of their own) which means they don't really know how to help.

Please ensure you are not using a Virtual Private Network, date and time settings are set to automatic, remove your card from the app, remove the app, then reboot. Install the latest version of the app, verify your ID via Video Chat or Send Video. Still need help, please contact us 1.888.356.2741 or BCServicesCard@gov.bc.ca.

I have to reinstall the app often, and just recently, EVER time I use it, and even then can't guarentee it will work- just like other comments on here. It says "problem with app. Reset the app and set it up again." It's so frustrating that an app created and maintained by the province doesn't work properly. If it worked properly it would be a good app.
