Benefit with Helsana+ and collect Plus points worth over CHF 300 every year by leading a healthy lifestyle, taking preventive health measures and connecting with Helsana.

Full account: with a full account, insured persons with at least one supplementary insurance can collect 30,000 Plus points every year and have over CHF 300 paid out.
Basic account: with a basic account, insured persons with basic insurance can collect a maximum of 7,500 Plus points every year and have around CHF 75 paid out.

How to collect points:
You collect Plus points with sporting activities, everyday exercise, preventive health measures, memberships and your loyalty, as well as seasonal and diverse challenges and quizzes. Connect your fitness tracker or Google Health directly to Helsana+ or share your location to use “Walk the Helsana trails”. It makes it even easier to collect Plus points.
How to redeem points:
You can convert the Plus points you have collected into cash, exchange them for vouchers from selected partners such as Galaxus and Zalando, or donate them to the Swiss Red Cross or Theodora Foundation.

Ratings and reviews

The login experience together with regular automatic logout make the use of this application comically difficult without a second device. Follow that: 1. To log in, you have to get a code to confirm your email address. 2. To get the code, you need to go to an email application. 3. But!.. when you switch back to Helsana Plus application, you are back at login screen. And a new code required. How stupid is that?! Security theater and poor

Nice to receive points for being active, but the rules and online information are unclear. Helsana says everyday activity counts, yet for both me (Polar) and my partner (Garmin), manually recorded activities earn points via Health Connect while daily steps don't. After several emails, support repeatedly suggested things I'd already confirmed were working, without engaging with my questions about how points are actually supposed to be awarded.

It's a shame they removed the photo verification for physical activity. given the negative effects on mental health of using a tracker, there should be an alternative solution that does not require an API. Also the app is very slow, always loading.
