I would love to try riding a bird! but it doesn't work. my bf and me both downloaded the app and were charged 10euro each. but we never got to drive! when unlocking a bird, a window pops up to add balance and even when you click agree, the window keeps popping up again and again and the bird doesn't unlock. the auto-pay function seems to be blocked as allowing for it always ends in an error message. we also contacted customer support and the only thing they suggest is to reinstall the app...

The time starst counting before you can actually use the vehicle. It is only maybe less than 10 sec. But since you pay for every started minute, it can mean a big surcharge on short distances (with a 10-15% probability). This hidden costs seem to be part of the business model. Very difficult (a very time consuming) to get anyone on the phone if you have any problem. You then have to spend much effort to get back a few francs for the ride (time which is not worth to spend and therfore most dont).

If you get in trouble with the app or the equipment then good luck getting your issue solved. After picking up 3 Birds in a PARK found in the app, noted one was broken. Well I was not able to lock it again because suddenly Bird blocked the whole CITY as a park forbidden area. After trying to find contact and help we tried to get out of the area (6km!) With a broken equipment and me keeping getting charged. Finally at 1am the issue was solved. Don't use it.
