Sadly, the app fragments the news with David Muir into sections thus a viewer can't simply watch the entire news shows. To do so, one needs to wait for the broadcast to be posted on Youtube. This is a perfect example of over thinking the user experience and not understanding the audience base. This APP diminishes the ABC brand and detracts from showing the fact that David Muir is a world class anchor and newsman.
Reporting is A+, the app itself however is another thing. I can only read 3-4 articles (on a good day) before it crashes. More stable on Apple, much worse on Android. I'd like an app that I could read all the articles I want without repeated crashes.
Favorite news app. Present news in priority and groupings that I like but it's poorly written from a performance standpoint. Runs very slow. Reloads whole page when portions would suffice
Change to 2 star...too slow to load. Story font can be changed to large , but the title looks so small, annoyingly small...
This app pisses me off mainly because it was loading in the background and It used up 3 gigs of my data. I didn't have data for 3 weeks
Decent Objectivity afa being as Propagandized as any other. If you watch a video, be prepared to manually STOP the Playback, because the app will eat your data and show you VERY OLD video.
In this build, we're improving our personalization.
- Reintroduced our topics as "Interests". Add interests to get push alerts and content specific to topics you care about
- Revamped onboarding
- Renamed the Alerts tab to "Interests"
- Added an Interest card to top stories with personalized content
Also fixed some crashes and other nasty bugs.
