The app will not even allow me access to my account. Just gives an error message telling me to contact customer service. I did so, they said there's no problem on my account, but they would "look into it and call me back". Of course they didn't. I've rebooted my phone, changed data provider, but this app left me in an untenable position where I couldn't make a payment even after trying for hours. Very disappointing, ABSA really went down after changing from Barclays. Time to consider a new bank.

This app frequently goes offline and kicks you out. You have to re-register and deregister your device several times sometimes for it to start working. If you are in the diaspora you can't get a hold of the call center internationally. I've had my card and account blocked many times. Making it difficult to send money to Zambia when Absa keeps rejecting transactions or reversing them into the account.

The current version hasn't been smooth. keeps freezing and makes it impossible for me to access the app until I literally restart my phone. Not ideal. It might need a software upgrade that will fix that bug. 🤦🏽
